For more than 50 years Garzanti Specialties has been the official distributor of Novonesis enzymes for the textile sector. Novonesis, a world leader in the production of enzymes for various sectors in the industry, boasts a complete range of products used in the finishing of fabrics: amylase, cellulase, pectinase, catalase and laccase.
Garzanti Specialties is also present in the synthetic fibres sector acting as the Italian agent for:
Mahr, the German leader in the design and construction of high precision metering gear pumps, both for PA and PES spinning and for finishing.
Chung Hwa, the producer of NaSipa and 3-SSBA, textile finishes used in the production of polyamide fibres.
Lanxess, a German manufacturer of specialist biocidal active ingredients. Garzanti distributes Oxone™, a potassium monopersulfate, used as a powerful chlorine-free oxidant.
Leather Sector
When it comes to the treatment of leather Garzanti Specialties is the official
distributor of the enzymes produced by Novonesis. Proteases are used for soaking, liming and also for bating (including acid pickling). Lipase is available for degreasing in both acid and alkaline processes.
We also distribute Glycolic Acid, Chemours, a revolutionary acid in tanning with big positive impacts in pickling, liming, dyeing and colour fixation.
